The Simitri Leadership Development Workshops have been designed to ensure current leaders in your organisation and those in your leadership pipeline have the knowledge, insight and skills to lead today and in the future.
The workshops give both senior executive and managers the ability to lead through persuasion, purpose and perception. Our Leadership Development training includes a number of workshops each of which are customised to meet the needs of your organisation, your team and the individual participants.
Branding Your Leadership Style
Focused on helping the participants understand their leadership strengths and how they are being perceived by others. After all, it’s your colleagues and employees that determine whether you are a good or great leader. During the workshop, we help the participants understand their role as leader within their organisational structure and realize the direct impact they can have on business outcomes. We also discuss the type of leadership style they desire for themselves and steps they can take to achieve it.
Managing High Performance Teams
Provides leaders, managers and supervisors with the skills to improve the performance and contributions of the team as a whole. The workshop is focused on creating a team vision, setting goals, empowering team members, providing feedback and handling pushback. The workshop also addresses the softer skills required when leading teams, including building rapport, understanding your team members, asking questions and listening. During the workshop a number of individual and group exercises and role-plays are used to help participants gain a better understanding of their leadership strengths and equally important, areas for improvement.
Coaching for Performance
Assists leaders that are looking to get the maximum outcome from their team and the individuals on it. The workshop is focused on the “how to” aspect of coaching for performance and development. During the workshop, topics such as understanding employee motivation, skill / will matrix, coaching strategies and providing feedback are discussed in detail.
Furthermore, through role-plays the participants are able to test their coaching message in a safe environment before delivering it to an employee or team member.
Change Management
Gives leaders, managers and employees the ability to control and benefit from corporate change initiatives. The Simitri Change Management Workshops can be broken down into 3 workshops: Leading Change, Change Management for Managers and Change Readiness.
Managing Team Conflict
Helps participants deal with and resolve conflict that may emerge between teams or individuals. By understanding the different types of conflict, the underlying root cause and the different ways to deal with conflict, the participants will be better prepared to resolve conflict in a manner that produces positive outcomes.
Integrating Remote Teams
Provides participants with the ability to lead teams that are geographically dispersed and whose common means of communication are email and the phone. Virtual, remote and cross-function teams are a by-product of today’s global economy. By first understanding team members’ needs and drivers, the participants will be in a better position to put forth action plans that ensure cooperation and success.
Emotional Intelligence
There is a direct correlation between a person’s emotional intelligence and their success as a leader. However, most leaders are unaware of their emotional intelligence potential and more importantly how they can apply emotional intelligence in the workplace. The Emotional Intelligence Workshop includes: • Pre-program Self & 360 degree EI Assessment (what EI behaviours you do well and those you could start doing more of to improve your EI) • 8 x EI Enhancement Modules delivered to explore how to develop one’s emotional intelligence in the workplace • One-on-one coaching to help participants further construct action plans and support the participants through the individual development • Post-Program Self & 360 degree EI Assessment
