I. Objective On completing this training program trainees should:
- Identify the obstacles including internal factors and external issues faced in penetrating Southeast Asia markets - Be able to use an in-depth cross-cultural analysis model/perspective to identify those similarities and differences between business practices of China and SE Asia; understand appropriate localization strategies to capture business potentials in SE Asia markets - Acquire the knowledge in developing “Winning Strategies” to achieve long-term success in SE Asia, covering manufacturing, product development, market expansion and sales channel strategies, etc. - Equip with necessary skills in developing corporate, business and functional strategies to achieve effective business performance in SE Asia - Be able to apply the knowledge and application learnt through this training program to enhance management/operation in SE Asia market - Understand the practical applications of various academic models and how these can be used to improving business performance in SE Asia
II Training Program Overview Major objectives of this training program are to facilitate senior management to identify their existing obstacles facing, as well as to learn the skills to achieve “Winning Strategy” for coming business growth in SE Asia.
This training module is customized to meet the existing training needs of division heads and corporate directors. Through this program, via application of academic models and sharing of successful cases, the participants will understand how to develop effective corporate, business and functional strategies to penetrate SE Asia markets.
During the training, we will cover various principles and applications from management perspectives. The case studies conducted during this program will facilitate all participants to have better understanding of what problems and difficulties they are facing when expanding into SE Asia, as well as to assist them to appreciating the ways in tackling these obstacles.
Business scenario simulation will be utilized to further enable participants’ interest and understanding, as well as to generate additional strategic insights not being identified during the discussion sessions.
Duration of the training program is 3 full days, comprising of group discussion, case studies and business scenario simulation. Trainees will be required to conduct discussion both individually and in a group approach throughout the training program.
